There is a variety of services in EWR Terminal A that are available to you if you have some downtime in between your arrival at the terminal and your departure to your destination. Terminal A offers many places to grab a bite to eat and enjoy refreshments, including adult beverages. But those aren’t the only places to relax, and there are many other services and facilities that serve a wide range of purposes.

It’s a terrible time to have to race past all of the interesting services in EWR Terminal A as you hurriedly make your way to a flight you may miss. ATMs
Automated teller machines are among the most sought-after services in EWR Terminal A. You’ll find ATMs throughout this area, including at the baggage claim area, near Gate 35, Door 7 of the Arrivals area, the main concourse between Gates A20-28 and A30-39, and in the lounges.
Restrooms
Terminal A has multiple sets of gender-assigned bathrooms throughout the terminal. You’ll find these at the dining areas and lounges but also scattered throughout other parts of the terminal.
Changing Rooms
Changing tables are available in most if not all restrooms regardless of gender assignment
Nursing Rooms
Nursing rooms are also available for mothers who are traveling with an infant and want to breastfeed in private. Those services in EWR Terminal A are located near Gates A10-18, near Gates A30-39, A1 after Security, A2 adjacent to the Earl of Sandwich location and A3 between Gate 32 and center.
Charging Stations
Power outlets for mobile charging are located throughout Terminal A both landside and airside.
Pet Relief Areas
If you’re traveling with a pet that needs a potty break, you can take the pet to the courtyard on the west side of the terminal. This is an outdoor area. An indoor pet relief area is planned but is currently under construction as of this writing.
Shoeshine Service
Boss Shoeshine operates in Terminal A and is located on the concourse level.
Shuttles
There are two one-way shuttle buses that run regularly. One runs from Terminal A to Terminal B. The other runs from Terminal A to Terminal C. The loading areas for the shuttles are found outside the terminal.
Elevators
There are elevators scattered throughout Terminal A to ease transitioning between the different levels. Escalators are also available.
Lounges
There are two main lounges found in Terminal A: United Airlines United Club and American Airlines Admirals Club. These require membership, or with an appropriate ticket, you can purchase a pass for the day.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi access is available to all passengers in Terminal A and the other terminals by connecting to the “_Free EWR WiFi” network. Note that better Wi-Fi access is available in the lounges and perhaps other locations.
