Whether your flight is delayed, or your travel plans fall through, or you simply love to plan spontaneously, Hotel Tonight is a great travel app to have on hand. The app lets you search for last-minute hotel rooms for nearly any destination. Best of all, some hotels offer last-minute hotel rooms at discount prices.

With PackPoint, you can get a customized list of vacation essentials based on your destination, weather, and any activities you may have planned. This way, you won’t have to worry about making a list or forgetting anything.

If you still haven’t tried Uber, it’s worth checking out – especially if you’re traveling to an area that doesn’t have a lot of taxis. The service is available in more than 500 cities and lets you schedule a ride at the touch of a button. This app comes in particularly handy if you’re traveling to a major city that offers public transportation. Citymapper lets you connect with ride-sharing services, gives you the fastest way to arrive at your destination, and lets you check subway and train times offline. You can even subscribe to specific bus or train routes and be alerted when it’s time to get off.

For a different way to find the cheapest airfare, try Skiplagged. After you input your “to” and “from” destinations, the app will search for flights that land at your destination and flights that layover at your destination. This gives you the opportunity to take advantage of hidden-city fares.
