At our Newark Airport parking company, we’re constantly sharing stories about our airline experiences. Recently, Business Insider decided to determine the best airlines in the world. The ranking system that the website used was based on two factors: “an enjoyable experience in the plane, and timely departure and arrival.” They devised a rating score of 100 possible points, then examined major international airlines and their economy class flights.

Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Garuda Indonesia all got the same score, which means they tied. South African Airlines and Thai Airways also got the same score and tied. On an interesting note, none of the 20 best airlines was an American-based airline.
Why do you think that is?
