If you’re looking for a place to hang out and grab some good food as well as something delicious to drink, head to Krug’s Tavern in Newark’s Ironbound neighborhood. Krug’s has been a local favorite since 1932 and is known for their award-winning burgers. With an overall laid-back atmosphere, the tavern is a great place to meet up with friends, watch a game on one of the many televisions, or simply meet new people. Today, the tavern is owned by the LaMotta family – relatives of the late Jake LaMotta, who was a middleweight champion boxer in the 1940s and 1950s.

QXT’s Night Club
There’s not much dancing involved in airport parking in Newark, but if you head to QXT’s Night Club, you’ll find plenty of it. The venue’s “underground” atmosphere has made it a popular spot for locals for more than 25 years. On Fridays and Saturdays, club-goers can enjoy a variety of musical genres including Alternative, New Wave, 80s, 90s, Punk, Rock, EDM, and more in three different areas – the main dance floor and two additional rooms. The club also hosts events like Ladies Night, Karaoke, and Open Mic Night as well as amateur artist nights, themed nights, and private events.
