The Denver International Airport in Colorado is situated on 34,000 acres of land, making it the largest airport in the U.S.

Worst Delayed/Canceled Flight Percentage

Every year, the Chicago O’Hare International Airport in Illinois experiences over 160,000 delays and cancelations caused by weather. Last year alone, more than 28% of all flights were delayed and nearly 13,500 canceled.

Best for Long Layovers

San Francisco International Airport wins again for the airport to be at when you have a long layover. In addition to its many shops, the airport has a SFMOMA Museum store, an aquarium, an airport museum, and local food to keep you busy.

Most “Hated”

There are several U.S. airports that travelers don’t seem to like, and the number one is LaGuardia Airport in New York City. It’s known to have bad check-in and security processes, a bad design, a lack of cleanliness, and sub-par baggage handling.
