6 Vacation Spots for Winter Lovers

At our EWR Airport parking company, we love the winter and we’re always hearing about the great vacations our customers have taken during the cold months. We thought we’d share some spots that you and the whole family can enjoy this year:

Aspen, Colorado

If you’re a lover of skiing or snowboarding (or snowshoeing for that matter), the city of Aspen has more than 5,000 acres of mountain terrain for you to enjoy. Whether you head to the peaks of Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, or Buttermilk, you’ll find amazing views, warm fireplace lodges, and loads of fluffy snow.

Concord, New Hampshire

In addition to plenty of skiing and snowboarding opportunities, Concord boasts a large music scene, a variety of different restaurants, and an exciting nightlife. You’ll also find an array of spas if you’re looking for some relaxation and historical museums and monuments.

Reno, Nevada

In Reno, you’ll find a nice mix of gambling, activities, bar crawls, and skiing. With more than 20 casinos, 200 bars, and a handful of ski resorts nearby, there’s something for everyone to do. You can also check out the nature, science, games, and art exhibits at the Nevada Discovery Museum and watch the clowns, magicians, jugglers, and animals at Circus Circus Reno.

Lake Tahoe, California

When you think cold vacations, you may not think of California, but Lake Tahoe gets over 400 inches of snow every year. Spend your stay in a cozy cabin with incredible views, enjoy the city’s many restaurants, and head out to one of the area’s 18 world-class ski resorts. You’ll also find spas, music performances, and lots of shopping opportunities.

Park City, Utah

Park City is a great place for the entire family. While the area is known as a ski resort town (boasting Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort, and Canyons Resort), you’ll find plenty of other activities to do such as sporting events, historic tours and museums, art galleries, film festivals, and more.

Killington, Vermont

Known as the go-to spot in Vermont, Killington caters to snow lovers of all kinds. Whether you enjoy snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, snow tubing, or snowshoeing, you’ll be able to do it all at one of the seven mountain peaks. You’ll also find festivals, bands, shopping, and over 100 restaurants and bars.
